Paws wants to tell you about our wonderful school, Timberline Elementary. It is a GRRREAATTTT place to learn, make new friends, and have lots of fun!

"I can't wait until my favorite 1st graders get here!"
Timberline Elementary is in Grapevine, Texas. We have great days learning a lot in 1st grade. Our morning is full of Reader's and Writer's Workshop, and we are using all of our strategies and smart moves to learn more each day. We are learning in Social Studies about being good citizens wherever we are...our classroom, our communities, and our world. In the afternoon, we love hands on math and science activies that let us work with our buddies and learn from one another.
The students in Mrs. Terrell's class have had a special time with me, but they are excited that I am traveling to a school in Michigan. I will be learning what they do at their school and look forward to coming back and telling them about all of my adventures! Here are a few things they said about me before I left
"I like Paws because he has stripes and he is a stuffed animal." by Elijah

"We have orange chicken and milk and pizza. And, we have nachos at lunch and baked potatoes and donuts."

I love my school and really like to play with my all of my TEAM TERRELL friends during recess. Here are some things that my class has said about the learning and fun we have at Timberline Elementary.
"School is a great place because you get to learn more. At school, you get to play in the sand and you get to play on the slide. You get to play on these twirly things, and you get to play on the monkey bars. It is lots of fun!"

"My school is fantastic. My playground is fun. I like playing on it. I like to do the monkey bars. Pep Ralleys are fun. You get to be called up and you get links!"

Mr. Beal is our music teacher. I got to travel to all of the specials classes with my class. Besides music, they go to art, PE, and science. Specials is a great part of our day at Timberline!

Our class is earning links this year by showing kindness and compassion to others. We have a pep rally every month and share the links we have earned as a class. At the end of the year, we will have a Rachel's Challenge Rally with all of the schools in the district. It is great to be a 1st grader at Timberline!!!
